Writing on Twitter, Street Fighter executive producer Yoshinori Ono announced that he has resigned from his director position at Dead Rising studio Capcom Vancouver. Note that he specifically left that position -- from the sound of it, he's still very much at Capcom.

As a follow-up, Ono said "I had take some time, I think over very carefully about next things [sic]. I'd like to watch TV for Brazil World Cup before thinking it! :D"

Street Fighter V is officially in production. Hope Ono isn't being overworked. He's also executive producing Capcom's action-RPG Deep Down.
