Street Fighter IV picture overload part two: El Fuerte tiene un sartén

Capcom just loves doing these photo dumps. You just saw Rufus, now it's time to check out El Fuerte. As you look at all of the photos in the gallery, you'll notice that El Fuerte is in the air a lot. He is a Lucha libra fighter after all and they're known for flying around in their wrestling matches. His combos look pretty devastating too. The pictures are mostly in sequential order, showing some of his moves from start to finish. Perfect for making animated gifs.

Now my only question is why does El Fuerte have a frying pan? Are they adding weapons into Street Fighter IV all of a sudden? They're not, but wouldn't it be interesting if the Street Fighter series added weapons into the mix? And by interesting, I mean the worst thing that could ever happen to the franchise.

How's El Fuerte looking to you?

Wow, this bitch looks exciting. Can't wait 'til the arcade version gets over here...whenever that might be.

Perhaps it's because I'm old and a die hard 2-D Street Fighter fan but this game is looking more and more like a parody of a real Street Fighter game than a true succesor to Third Strike.

El Fuerte y este juego es estupido.

Why is the frying pan so low poly? I'm just wondering.

man though those images look really good, I'm still not convinced... gotta play it for real before I'll make up my mind about it!

The graphics keep improving. Now the character design doesn't look dull any longer, thanks to good texturing.

I dunno if I'd consider his frying pan a "weapon", anyway. If Ryu can send flaming projections of his fists all over the stage, then this Mexican dude can hit people in the face with a cooking utensil.

Actually, I think in El Fuerte's description, it mentioned that he was a cook. That would make more sense.

Wow, I can't wait for this game. I know it doesn't exactly look like a SF game, but I'm craving for some 2D fighters and this looks worthy.

Also, my guess is the frying pan is a special move that happens in about a sec, not to worry, guys.
