Street Fighter IV Collector's Edition detailed photo

Today, Capcom announced the "ultimate" Street Fighter IV Collector’s Edition for Europe and Australia. The image above shows what is included in the package, but we wouldn’t have jobs if we just stuck to pictures.

Essentially, the set is standard special edition fare – figurines, bonus disc, art booklet and downloadable content. The figurines are of Ryu and the brand-spanking new character Crimson Viper. In addition to the toys, the owner of this set will get a “crowded Chinese downtown” setting to place them in. The bonus disc consists of an anime movie, as well a select group of the game’s teaser trailers.

The booklet features moves lists and art for the four new characters in the game. The downloadable content isn’t known, but Capcom has dubbed it “exclusive.” While we wouldn’t wager that the content would be a dress for Ryu, we have decided that it would be awesome if that were the case.

The SFIV Collector’s Edition pack will be available in Europe and Australia on February 20th for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The North American version will probably look much the same, but no word on that quite yet.

To celebrate the return of the revolutionary Street Fighter series and the upcoming release of Street Fighter IV for the PLAYSTATION®3 and Xbox 360®, Capcom has created the ultimate Collectors Edition pack for European and Australian fans of the series.

Along with the game itself, the Collectors Edition pack, which will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360, will include the following contents housed in a classic Street Fighter scene outer case –

o    Limited edition figurines of all time favorite character Ryu and the all new character Crimson Viper, positioned within the familiar settings of the 'crowded Chinese downtown'.
o    A bonus disc containing a feature length HD quality anime movie, created specially for the launch of Street Fighter IV and a selection of the best game trailers to date.
o    A mini strategy guide created in the style of a comic art book detailing the moves and biographies of four of the new characters to the series; Viper, Abel, El Fuerte and Rufus
o    Exclusive downloadable game content
o
Street Fighter IV the Collectors Edition will be punching its way into fans hands on February 20th 2009.

fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfap. Although given that theres no arcade stick bundle, I'll probably have to shell out another $50-$60 for an arcade stick, along with the $80 that this will probably cost. So yeah, I really need to find me a job soon.

what happened to the arcade sticks?

the sticks should be sold to EVERY copy of the 360 edition... it's not our fault that MS has a shit dpad on their controller!

Isn't there supposed to be some sort of be-all-end-all edition that has an arcade stick? D-pads on this Generation of consoles just suck in general, with the exception of the wii's classic controller.
