I just got this tip in, so I haven't gotten a chance to actually watch what I'm posting about. That's annoying, as I've been waiting for Street Fighter High: The Musical (the sequel to Street Fighter High) for months now.
I did jump around each episode just to give myself a tease, so I can point out a few points of interest, such as Justin Wong getting the stink eye from every Street Fighter in class, Bison spitting some new lyrics on Big Pimpin', and Street Fighter-themed remix of Funk Soul Brother. What more could you ask for from a Street Fighter musical?
Glancing through, I see a lot of characters that normally don't get much love. Cody, Rose, Gouken, and Makoto all made the cut, amongst many others. No Sagat sightings yet though. Hope the grumpy old bastard gets some screen time.

Well, it was cool but it wasn't that funny. The production was pretty good, I wish it had more fighting like in the end credits, that sequence was cool.
It was just too uneven to say it was great but it was fun.
Maybe they will ask Dtoid's Sagat to join in next time, eh?
It could have been better, that's for sure, but this was just so much fun that I don't even care about that. And holy crap, the fight scenes at the end are really top notch. I would've liked to see more of that. Why did they relegate those to the credits?
Also... How did... how did you get Guile to look so much like John Cusack?!?!?!
Also also, the song is called "The Rockafeller Skank", not "Funk Soul Brother".
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Fuck yes.
Fuckin' fuck yes.
Holy shit fuck yes.
Naw, I'm kidding. Good job on this one.
WTF?
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Holmes.
Disappointed on a personal level but shit happens...
The rest was so fucking lame.
I love it <3
You guys are nuts.
I love you.
Hamza, what is that square thing in your pocket?
Parodies of scenes from various movies was fun, but I feel that without them this production wouldn't have much to stand on of its own.
Costumes were done, and casting seemed decent. I hope that the next (if there is one) production by this group is more refined.
Also, holy fuck Matt Mercer as Dan. Mindfuck right there.
And wow was Ibuki cute...
