Siliconera links us to news that the upcoming limited collector's edition version of Stranglehold for the PS3 will be region-free.
This news came from Midway's official forums as an answer to the demands by many fans. Now those in Europe and Asia can import this title that comes with a Blu-ray version John Woo's "Hard Boiled" without having to worry about territorial protection. Seeing as how the movie and game will be on the same disc, all of the limited edition's content will be region-free.
We heard earlier that even though this is a limited release, the number will be a "six-figure quantity", so importers should have a fair chance to nab a copy.
