With all this jazz of war, world hunger, Mayan calendars, and a Zombie Apocalypse, the world is coming to its inevitable end. Leave it to our very own (and trustworthy) Storm Dain to tell you how it is. With the recent controversy surrounding Valve's Left 4 Dead 2, what better time then any to take it back old-school (too soon?) and reintroduce the reasons why Left 4 Dead was and will always be so great? I've got no friends, you say? No worries -- next to preventing the world's end, Storm also has the answer to loneliness. No, it's not masturbation.
I really want to see a game called Jazz of War. It should involve either a Martini Porsche 935 Turbo that transforms into a giant robot, or a bunch of bulky dudes doing "jazz hands" a lot.
The skit at the end of this is probably the best part. I've got to agree with most of your review. Left 4 Dead got old pretty quickly. I can play TF2 over and over again. L4D is just a lot of the same over and over.
P.S. L4D and Left 4 Dead are the same number of words and syllables. It takes just as much time to say it either way.
That was awesome. I loved the end clip, I've seen a lot of videos where people try to put the special infected in a real world environment, but those always come across as lame at best. Yours nailed it perfectly.
Also, I hope that one of the new special infected in L4D2 is a wheelchair zombie.
I'm not keen on this new set of video skits. This one was okay, but at the moment, it has some way to go to match the other content on this site. I mean, Destructoid is kind of a big deal. If you can't match that deal, it's going to make you look a bit silly.
Playing as an Infected is the most fun part of the game. If you don't agree, it's because you were playing not as a team. Really raping the Survivors, or better yet, stopping them just inches before they make it to the Safe Room, is extremely satisfying, but you can only do it if you and your fellow Infected work together.
