Really, guys, what the hell, you don't give people much reason to visit your site.
Why do people freak out so much over something like this? Yeah, it's a little late. Don't have a heart attack over it.
Well I must be part of that 10% as I don't have an account and I haven't seen this. Why don't you just stfu and go somewhere else?
Your first mistake was coming to dtoid in hopes of seeing it here first. People come to Dtoid for the community and the original articles, not up to date news.
Also, I hadn't seen it until just now either.
BUT:
chronoswing: People come to Dtoid for the community and the original articles, not up to date news.
HAHAHAHA, I'm so sorry dude. I don't mean to pick on you, but that comment was just more offensive than it was complementary. It made it funnier knowing just how DAMN serious you actually were about that comment.
I don't know about you guys, but I come here for the community, the originality, AND the up to date news. Sometimes I get one, sometimes I get all, sometimes I get none. Regardless, I will be dropping by because I enjoy it... and honestly, it's not the end of the world. No website will be 100% flawless.
The first time through (Good on Normal) I did most of the open world stuff and collecting and then second time through (Evil on Hard) I just ran through doing the story missions and minimal other sidequests. Practically two different games when you play it that way and I'd highly recommend playing it that way.
This is new to me, so this post has done it's job.
I'm not saying Dtoid doesn't get the occasional scoop, just saying most of the news posted on here was usually posted first somewhere else, but I wouldn't know as I only read dtoid with the occasional gametab. But the main draw of the site is the community and originality. But fucktards like Fadecy think this is IGN or something and it's supposed to be on top of news the second it's broken.
And I really liked it. Lots of good, valid complaints about inFAMOUS but he took a fair look at it and recognized how fun it was regardless. Just interesting to watch, and the trophies bit is awesome too. I too thought I wouldn't give a shit about trophies, and now I'm level 9 and I've got a platinum with inFAMOUS and rented Terminator Salvation just for the quick platinum there too.
The only part that was annoying about the video is the animosity to the PS3 console itself. It's fine to not like the bumpers on the controller, but to call the entire console sub-par without truly backing it up was a little uncalled for. I wouldn't mind watching a Storm's Adventures! PlayStation 3 video to go over this kind of stuff.
But, seeing it posted still made me happy just as much as if it was brand new, and I watched it again.

That said i'm definitely considering picking up a copy of inFAMOUS now as my PC copy of Prototype is D E K C U F because ATI cards apparently don't cooperate with the dynamic lighting so it looks like Time Crysis and i can pretend its the fucking 90's or something and my eleventy-billion core computer doesn't even exist yet. Jaysus. And hey i've been totally in the mood for an openworld superhero game so maybe... hmmm...
Oh and i LOVE punching water towers until the 'slode, which i here is futured prominently in both games.
I love it, and don't see a huge problem with it. But, I also don't see what the point was in "previewing" the video beforehand on Youtube: Jim's "What I've Dones" are generally on Youtube before release as well. My guess is they test it out with an audience before they put it on the main page?
Yep. I deliberately put my videos live on Youtube about 24 hours before I put them on the site to give them an early test.
Count me in that "10%" as well then. Just saw it for the first time. I also have a Youtube account, but am too lazy to log into it. How do ya like me now?
Go back to Kotaku, Fadecy, and stay there.
Get a new avatar, fadecy. That one was posted in this thread yesterday.
I checked all the threads on other sites, too. It's like two weeks old dude.
