Stephen Fry returns for LittleBigPlanet PSP photo

Charming British humorist and personal figure of worship Stephen Fry has used Twitter to tease the Internet Gods, commenting that he is working on a "second edition" of a videogame today, providing the voice work as he so expertly does with his creamy smooth vocal cords.

Fry was being secretive this morning, but has since "been empowered to confirm" that he's working on the PSP iteration of LittleBigPlanet. The very fact that I will be able to take Mr. Fry's lovely voice with me wherever I go is great news.

Stephen Fry is a huge advocate of Twitter and a technology lover in all areas, even being something of a gamer. As well as being a very funny chap, his work in videogames has been appreciated, and I'm delighted he's recording for more of them.

You should totally add me on Twitter, by the way, so I can ever-widen the gap between Wardrox and me. I won't link to Wardrox.

Wait...with all the bragging that the 360 would never be able to handle a game like LBP you're now telling me it can be made for the psp? To qoute GOB Bluth "C'MON?!!"

Fair do's Robo - you probably could port the Portable LBP to Errorbox 360.

UMD fits on DVD.

Blu-ray however, that LBP disc is pretty full.....

This is good news. His voice added so much to the game that I can't see it existing without it.

Sorry Mr. Chocolate, I don't buy it. If the developers feel that they can make a compelling game on the UMD format I'm quite sure they'd be able to work with dvd. Save the rhetoric for yo mama, please.

It's called trash talking and making exclusive deals with video game companies and publishers. Can you imagine what it would be like for video game companies and publishers to truly speak what's on their mind instead of spinning stuff?

This is awesome. Reminds me of a story...
A friend of mine was vacationing in France and he saw Stephen Fry on the street! Being somewhat of a fan he was ecstatic and went over to introduce himself. Stephen said to him "So you are Canadian?" and my friend was quite shocked that he was able to tell, so he asked him how he knew. Stephen said "well, you are wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey...". He then (in the most polite way possible) asked my friend if he wouldn't mind leaving as he had just ran in and ruined a shot for a film or something of that nature.
What a cool person. I'm still mad my friend got to meet him and I didn't. He brags every time we play Fable II. Ug.

Holy shit Stephen Fry has a podcast.

Sadly, I cannot download the man's podcast without iTunes, and he's just not worth it. :|

Can't wait for this on PSP. The PS3 game has been a solid institution in my weekly gaming routine. It is something that my girlfriend and I can sit down and enjoy for a couple hours and it never gets dull. You always meet new and interesting people, and there is always a fresh new level to tackle. The other day we hit up the Silent Hill Tribute and it was fantastic! Sometimes we never even get to play the actual game because we get so involved in seeing who can make the most insane looking sackboy!
