Steam indie game sale offers ten games for thirty bucks photo

If you’ve never had a chance to play Braid, Crayon Physics Deluxe, Blueberry Garden or The World of Goo, now’s your chance. Steam is running one of the coolest Weekend Deals in recent memory. For $29.99, Steam is offering a crash course in recent indie gaming. A total of ten indie games are being offered as a bundle. The collection includes the aforementioned titles as well as Audiosurf, Darwinia, Everyday Shooter, Gish, Mr. Robot, and The Path.

Similarly, Steam is offering a five pack of games that includes Blueberry Garden, Braid, Everyday Shooter, The Path, and World of Goo for $19.99.

The value is there. All of these games explore something special or have something to say. There’s not a dud in either of the packs.

You’ll need to hurry if you want this. The Weekend Deal only lasts until Monday, meaning you have a little under 20-something hours to whip out the pocketbook.

I have about $80 in the bank right now and have half those games. It's tempting, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass.

What a terrible timing. My debit card's expired, and I only have about $30 in the bank until Wednesday, and was just planning to buy Braid next week.

Everyday Shooter is such a great game, I love the soundtrack. It was my 1st PSN game and is still my favorite.

I debated all weekend about this...and it was too good to pass up, even if I did already have a couple of 'em.

Bought it a few hours ago, though I already have EShooter, Braid and World of Goo. I played a bit of Darwinia and it is quite good, Crayon Physics is awesome, and Audiosurf is my new crack.
It's a shame I can't play Blueberry Garden...

The Path made all 4 computers in my apt take a violent shit. It only works on Intel machines with a ton of RAM (even with lowest video settings it choppy choppy my pee pee).

Damn, this sounds like a pretty friggin' sweet deal, except I already own Braid, Blueberry Garden, Everyday Shooter, and World of Goo. Though admittedly, only one of those is on PC.

In retrospect I'd pay $30 just for World of Goo or Braid. I already had some of these but the deal is still way worth it.

Oh sweet, now is my chance to pay for all those games that I pirated! BRB, supporting the developers.

I have never been so happy not to have bought games. I didn't own a single one of these before today, though I played several of them. £23? I didn't even think!

I already owned World of Goo on Wii, Blueberry Garden and Audiosurf on PC, and Braid on 360 (although that copy got effed, so i never got to finish it). I had been curious about stuff like The Path, Everyday Shooter, and Crayon Physics, so I went ahead and downloaded this one. This pack totally delivers the goods. And luckily most of these will work great on my new laptop.

Holyfuckingshit.

I already own a few of these on XBLA/PSN, but screw it all of these are great to have on my laptop when im away at school. Epic win.

Same goes for the Relic sale last week – something tells me there's a future in digital distribution. Hmmm...

Like 90% of the folks that I've seen commenting about the sale, I already own a few games from the list. However, I've been meaning to pick up Braid and Blueberry Garden anyway. So I'm pretty much considering this $10 for a handful of other indie games that could be fun to dick around with when I've got some downtime later.

Why this sale sucks:

I already own Braid, World of Goo, Audiosurf, and Blueberry Garden...and I already tried the Darwinia demo and hated it. So the only game I really want on the list is Everday Shooter and maybe The Path.

So really it's a great deal...I just already own most of the good games in the package.
