Valve has no control over Mac support. They ported Source so all of THEIR games are available, but it's up to the individual developers and publishers to actually make their games for mac before steam can offer them for sale.
I got the 70$ quakecon pack, with every id Game and every Bethesda game. Surprisingly, though, Quake 4 isn't on Steam.
I'm almost positive there already is a Mac version of Doom 3. I thikn ndschroede23 is referring to the fact that it just isn't on Steam's service. Even so, I don't think it's Valve's bad call but rather that of id Software.

Meh, I'm not a big Doom fan. Or a fan of any id game in general. Return to Castle Wolfenstein was pretty okay (better than Doom 3 I thought) and that's probably the last game from them I've played.

Just purchased. Simply too good a deal to pass up for me. Also, this is my first purchase on Steam, and the first time I've played a Doom game.
With Doom? Yes, great game series, always playing them now and again.
With Unreal? Yes. It was awful.

Yeah there were all these Steam deals to celebrate QuakeCon yet nobody can access Steam without tethering, and the people brave enough to try lose all their steam games lol
Fallout 3 is $25 today and it was $15 at the show so technically you could get some better deals by actually being there, although I don't think the versions they had for sale on the floor had the DLC like the Steam one does

@136weshgfdj134sxd: This may be correct for the people who use euros (I'm assuming you are considering you use a euro sign at the end), but don't claim it's correct everywhere. A lot of these deals ARE actually deals.
