I love my Wii. I really do. But Nintendo's decision to have us manually trade codes is so utterly manual and error prone! I thought I'd never have to do this again since the 1st generation Game Genie in 1989, but alas, I was on my sofa for one hour last night with a stack of print outs. How lame is that? Hey Nintendo, how about using that whole interconnected series of tubes? The analog era is over! Even Nintendo fanboys have to admit this -- the fact that you can't use an internet connected console to hook up with friends and have to resort to other methods is just ridiculous. Please join me in bitching and whining until they fix it, just like we had Microsoft fix their first Live service until it was worth a damn. Don't be afraid to tell Reggie it sucks, it's tough love people!
Nevertheless, it is a young console and the premise is innovative ... maybe even fun if we can get it work. We can only hope they improve the operability of this service in the near future. But for today, the only way to get a Mii Carnaval blowing up on our Wii's every day is to do the deed and punch in everybody's lotto numbers. Lucky for us, new forum moderator Dexter345 has taken the bull by the horns and compiled a list of our community's Wii codes and posted an FAQ on how to go about it.
Grab everyone on Destructoid's Mii codes and add yourself to our list!
Important: Later this week we'll be giving something two scantily clad gamer girl calendars away using the Mii system, so we hope to see you in our Mii parade!

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Anyway, I just want some online games to hit and the browser and other channels to come online.
Also, I'm desparate for someones Mii to travel to my console. My parade is empty and it makes me feel pathetic.
While I play Zelda, your Mii's will slowly infiltrate my system, sending shockwaves through the communities the next day as all Mii's everywhere start avoiding dropping by my place.
I was under the impression you could randomly pull Mii's out of the parade to bring into the system.
I prefer the system of judgement since the Mii's have no recourse if I declare them a threat to my own Mii-opic empire. My Wii is a Mii-ocracy, Mii's for the Mii's. Mii violence and disruptions to our comfy placid plaza livin' will be met with deitial level retribution. The A+B Forceps of Doom will be swift on any Mii caught out of line. The whistle is life!
I concur with the general concensus. Friend codes = teh suck. But, ah well. Hopefully when I pick up my own Wii (quality of Super Smash Bros Brawl pending) something will have changed. But I'm really not holding my breath.
