Star Wars: Tiny Death Star is out now for mobile

Seeing familiar Star Wars characters in this cutesy pixelated style from NimbleBit is enough to cut down any cynicism I might've had going into Star Wars: Tiny Death Star. We've enjoyed the studio's sim games for a while now and I don't see that changing with this one.

Tiny Death Star is out this week for iPhone and iPad, Android, Windows Phone, and Windows 8 devices. You'll deck out your own personal Death Star from a selection of 80+ types of themed floors and even capture Rebel scum like Luke and Leia. Yeah, this is just adorable.

Knights of the Old Republic and other Star Wars media no longer considered canon
