Nope. It's a pretty nifty idea but without new content to take new alts through, it's just the same old shit and I don't see any reason to bother.
I'd love to be lured back to this game by something worthwhile, but this isn't it.
Until ToR adds more stuff to do end game, I'm not going to go through the dredge that is leveling a ton of alts.
And I'm sorry, I'm sure many people loved question in ToR, but aside from the class specific quest lines, I thought the regular quests were meh, and I would be VERY bored doing them 2+ times.
The legacy system is cool, but yeah, it's not enough. For me at least.
If my characters Could no longer be Starfondlers I just didn't care anymore.
I left SWTOR because it was wow, which incorporated FFXI's quest system, but with voice acting and on a larger scale. The voice acting was able to draw me in, but it couldn't hold my interest since the combat feels so stale.
Now I'm waiting for Guild Wars 2. I'm looking forward to the combat system, and the dynamic quests. It lacks the story elements that FFXI and SWTOR have, but if it can draw me in just a little, then I'll be pleased.
Pretty much.. It only marginally makes me want to level all my characters sitting at 20, but isn't really making me want to rush to do it.
I'm actually thinking of going back to Rift.
...And what those superlative trailers had to do with the egregious shovelware that followed??
(thanks)
