It's nice to see them adding the odd bits, but I won't go back until there's more content. The same zones from start to finish with no branching is just to constructive for a MMO setting.
Welp, they're getting there. I do like the fact there was a Jedi with a flamethrower, lol'd a bit, Or a Chiss Smuggler, or a Jedi Sith (Lord Praven <3)

Still never hit 50. Have shit loads of characters and don't know who to play the most, have about 5 lvl 30s. Its byfar my favorite mmo and easily the best one out still. Maybe I will quit in a few years, not sure.
Email me when I can decorate my Agent's ship into a pimp mobile, or decorate period...Or do anything other then instance grind PvP/PvE at endgame.

I don't think it will be free to play anytime soon, but look at Age of Conan, DC Universe Online and others. I'm sure it must be worth the money, but since it's a subscription based MMO I would like at least to play it for a while before deciding the purchase.

From what Ive seen, MMOs go F2P when theyre desperate for players. Keeping in mind an MMO going from sub to f2p is different from an MMO designed as f2p to begin with.
I'll join the leveling comments with, I've been playing since late beta and still have barely gotten a character above 21. I just can't decided if its the game, or if I'm just a lot more completely done with MMO's then I first thought. I thought it was only WoW I was this level of finished with. All I know for sure is I have 7 characters sitting around level 20 and I don't totally care to log into any of them (which is sad, cause I'm still fairly in love with my Bounty Hunter, who happens to be the level 21 I mention)
As for the patch.. Meh.. Seems like very time a download comes across my TOR launcher the game performs less and less optimally on my brand new, I-got-it-to-play-this-game-specifically, PC, no matter what I do with the settings. It kind of pisses me off..
Meet that with the fact that over the last month I've been having terrible latency spikes every time I play(which I found out aren't just me, my roommates co-worker, with a T1 connection, says the game is unplaybale for him, because of these same latency spikes and connection drops) and all I'm getting from the TOR team about these spikes and drops is canned messages about downloading the latest video drivers (which I can't, because there is no newer) and setting my video settings differently (I don't know how much lower I can go then the lowest settings...). Maybe thats another reason why I don't care if I log in at all, because I can't get a lick of support.
Guild bank wouldn't excite me even if I could manage to find a guild, which the game makes next to impossible (mostly because the game seems to have made my entire server anti-social). And I guess the new flashpoint, operation and other social-esque things fall into that same bag of "blech".
And the Legacy system means next to nothing to me if I continue to sit around at 20 not wanting to move forward.

Anyway, for as psyched for this game as I was to go out and put together a whole new system for it, I might just be done with it for unknown reasons. I'll find something else to play on my PC I guess... I hear that Skyrim game is decent.

High resolution textures and UI customization don't sound to me like patch updates, more like things that should have existed to begin with.

SWTOR is a clunky mess when it comes to the UI and combat on certain classes (the Cover mechanic is atrocious and some classes seem to have have really awkward "rotations"). Performance is abysmal in the best of circumstances.
That being said, I'm enjoying the storylines. I don't know if I'll play in the end game much, but I've got three characters in the Tatooine-Alderaan bracket and I enjoy it quite a bit (even if I spacebar through the non-unique quests on two of them). This patch gives me some improvements to thinks I dislike and pads the fluff at the end game, which will all be 'fresh' to me at 50.
Also, I still hate Huttball, and when my e-friends were fapping about how great it was none of them told me it was a shitty Bombing Run PvP instance.

So much whine in the comments...I think the game did well for a MMO release. People must keep in mind that all MMOs are filled with bugs at launch and they are doing a great job so far of fixing the issues.
I can't say anything about max lvl since I haven't reached it. But I love how the questing system works - it's so much fun and free of grind!
I will probably play the story line of many classes and by then maybe they will add the end game content it needs!

It's a mechanic that lets players intermingle and link all of their characters into one giant "family", which allows for some minor upgrades and new abilities based on your account.
