Especially with it being a Star Wars game. I need some Jedi's, aliens and established human bounty hunters (if there's to be one at all) like Boba freaking Fett. Or at least some half interesting gameplay mechanics. Like was there a single alien in either this or the demo? Just some ok-looking robots. Woo.
I'm becoming more and more reluctant to give LucasArts my money.
@Fugly Duckling: Republic Commando is also forgotten even though it has a story that is set up for a sequel. Battlefront and Republic Commando could be combined to save time and money as well as returning those games to glory. Republic Commando still has the best NPC teammates I have ever had. They didn't kill me, they saved me more times than I can count(not because I suck but because they rock) and they could do anything I could do and did which made me a happy Commander. Whether it was breaching a door, hacking a terminal, or shooting some bug-like aliens, they did it almost as well as I could.
@fetusmilk: The Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast games both had some pretty awesome lightsaber stuff. It wasn't perfect cut everything in half kind of good but it was mostly realistic. If your blade touched a wall, it left a scorch mark where the blade was and it could also cut off limbs and heads. The best part was the lightsaber battles though. You would automatically block most attacks which was more awesome than it sounds and made for tense battles where if you attacked stupidly you would get destroyed. Sith don't tolerate that shit.

I just can't stand the sanitized visuals of the prequels. So I am glad that the developers chose to go in this direction.
