THANKS SQUARE/TRI-ACE.
Exactly what I wanted on the 360 version too. Too bad the game is a mediocre fetch quest.
Seriously though we saw this coming. Now what extra stuff are we getting?
And captin bus has won this thread.
Wait, they can't yet! Not until AFTER FFXIII! NOooooOooo...
Also, Tri-Ace is getting worse, I swear. After Infinite Undiscovery and now this mediocre Star Ocean, I expect very little from this company.
what do you mean by "western controls" if your referring to the real time battle system, that's been going on since 1995 thanks to Tales of Phantasia.
It saddens me that I can't be more positive about SO4 since I've enjoyed the SO series pretty much up to this point. It falls into the category of an older series striving into the next-gen market, it's all flash and style with very little substance that made the series fun to begin with.
Too bad SO4 got abysmal reviews the first time 'round.
I guess I'll start praying for a 360-version of FF Versus XIII...although right now, that game looks like nothing but emo-brooding, belt buckles, and zippers.
Stewie sums up the time I spent with SO4's characters the best:

Was it the greatest RPG of all time? Not by any stretch of the imagination, but it certainly wasn't one of the worst, either.
And in this version we get the ability to skip cutscenes by pressing the triangle button, so PS3 owners can skip bad the dialog.
Microsoft publishes their games on consoles. No chance of a PS3 Lost Odyssey.
yeah same here. i don't know if i actually want to get this game. actually i do want to get it, i just don't know if i'll have enough time/motivation to play it.
The point being, the Xbox 360 has been THE machine for JRPGs this generation. Too bad most of them have been absolute rubbish (the ones mentioned above the only ones worth taking a second look at). I'm glad to see lots move to the PS3, even if it is sucky Star Ocean.
