The gang over at GoNintendo have come across some new Super Smash Brawl details. According to the Web page of (the really hot) voice actress Alesia Glidewell, she is voicing Krystal from the Starfox series in Brawl. She has voiced Krystal in the past and she is also voicing Knuckle Joe and Zero Suit Samus in Brawl as well. (Taking a quick look at her previous work, it seems that Alesia is getting some great jobs in the gaming world. She's going to be in Condemned 2, Left 4 Dead and Chell from Portal is completely modeled after Alesia.) So what does this mean exactly? Well, there are three possibilities. One: She's just going to be an Assist Trophy. Two: There is some kind of cut scene that involves Krystal. Three: She is going to be an actual playable character. I'm really hoping for situation three, personally. For one thing, Smash has always been dominated by male figures so the addition of more female characters is a good thing. Also, there was bound to be another character from the Star Fox universe. Falco and Star Wolf would just be way to similar too Fox. What are your toughts on this? Do you want her to be a new playable character or just be an Assist Trophy?

Krystal being playable in Brawl would make up for her not being playable in Star Fox Adventures, at least partially. She's probably just an assist trophy though.

In the orignal Smash, I loved all the characters. In Melee, I at least liked them all.
In Brawl, there are 3 characters I actively am irritated by. Diddy Kong, Sonic, and King Dedede.
Kryctal is worse than all three of them put together.
I am really hoping there is a "delete character" option in Brawl, because all these corny ass characters showing up in my Nintendo orgy is a real boner softener.

Personally I hope she is an Assist Trophy, or in a cutscene. I cannot stand her and every game she was in sucked. She is unappealing as a character, she has unappealing looks, and I just hater her. I'm fine with Sonic, I love King Dedede, Diddy Kong makes sense, but I hate this chick. I have friends that are furries but I personally hate the shit and Krystal can go die.

She's most likely going to be playable. I would rather have Falco back or Peppy or Star Wolf. Hell I'll take Slippy just to bet the whiney frog. Why Krystal?

I think it has more to do with Krystal being female and adding more female character. I beleave Sakurai said he was adding more female characters.
While she'd provide another female player and a different fighting style (with the staff thing) I think there are characters more deserving a spot on the roster than her.
Unless, of course, the roster really does expand to 50 characters, haha.
i wouldn;t mind seeing more female characters in brawl, i mean melee only had like what 2 female fighters but had 23? even crappy fighting games has better female/male ratio.

I think that Krystal will be playable. Wolf was one of Fox's pallet swaps in the demo, so Krystal seems like the most likely new Star Fox character. I always thought Krystal was more likely than Wolf anyway.
Falco will definitely return. If Kirby gets 3 characters, so should Star Fox.

It'd be really funny if Krystal is a playable character, and she becomes one of the top-tier fighters. You never know with Nintendo.
I think it's pretty cool actually, you can run around and hit people with a staff. Maybe like Kilik? I don't think there's a character in Smash that uses a staff.

But just reading through the comments, I want Slippy as a playable character just like the Pokemon Trainer; rather than actually fighting, he just calls for help and Peppy, Krystal, or Wolf take turns defending his punk ass.
