We previewed Star Fox 64 3D earlier, but that's just words and static pictures. Fancy some gameplay footage of Fox pew-pewing his way through space? It's prettier than what you played 14 years ago, I promise.
Come for the updated, crisp visuals and stay for the endearing space critters pleading for your support. Star Fox 64 3D will be out September 9.
I seriously wish they left the voices the same, this is some of the worst voice acting I've heard :( Not to mention, the N64 voice still stick with me to this day. I sank countless hours into the original.
Very sad that they redid the voice acting. I've played through the N64 version like a million times and have huge nostalgia for it. I made a version of the trailer using the original voice acting for comparison's sake.
@Patricia Hernandez That explains why most of the characters still sound close to the originals, but anyone who grew up with that game as a kid has those quotes burned into their mind and notice the small differences. I understand that they want crisp sounding audio, but it would be nice if they included the option to use the original voice acting. I honestly can't imagine playing the game without it.
I seriously can't wait for this game. I still play SF on Nintendo 64, I think it's the best 64 game ever. Having it on my 3DS will be the so great.
Even if all the third parties keep dropping their support for 3DS I'm glad Nintendo is supporting it with some big titles. I think once Mario 3DS and Mario Kart come out, the third parties will follow suit.
Is the voice acting really that big of a deal to you? I can understand for nostalgia's sake, but you could just play the original if you wanted to hear the voice acting, right?
I myself haven't played the original, so this will be my first Star Fox game. I am excited for it, but the lack of online play does sadden me. I was really looking forward to blasting some people over the Internet.
@Wally It is, but I wasn't planning on buying this anyways since I bought the Virtual Console version for $10. I don't even have a 3DS yet because all the good games are games I have on other systems.

No online multiplayer Nintendo? On a port? RE:Mercenaries 3D did it, and the assets are much more demanding. Ah well...
