Valkyria Chronicles-esque PS3/PS4/Vita SRPG from Patapon director

Natural Doctrine -- Natty Doc to its friends -- is getting a digital and physical western release after its release in Japan today. The PS4, PS3, and Vita strategy RPG from Patapon director Atsushi Ii is coming courtesy of NIS America sometime this fall to both North America and Europe with both Japanese and English audio. No Atlus-ian waits for you, Europe.

It's cross-play for multiplayer and cross-save betwixt its consoles, but no word yet on whether or not it's cross-buy. My fear is no, but we'll see.

Can't wait to play through the epic fantasy tale of Jeff.

Natural Doctrine is a strategy role-playing game with a sadistic side. It's a brutal and uncompromising experience, one keen on taxing players and pushing them to their limits with its intense difficulty. The architects behin...
The music goes from weird rock to just weird to typical RPG orchestral sounding. And still sounds alright.  Natty Doc (Natural Doctrine), the brutal, sort of ugly turn-based strategy game, also has mutliplayer...
Natural Doctrine isn't exactly good-looking, but it's a strategy role-playing game with a protagonist named Jeff. I like strategy role-playing games. They're some of my favorites. And Jeffs are okay, I guess. It's not like I...
Sure, Natural Doctrine doesn't look great (well, the environments; it does look better in miniature on the Vita). It's a far cry from director Atsushi Ii's gorgeous minimalism in Patapon. But Kadokawa Games' first intern...
NIS America will release strategy role-playing game Natural Doctrine in Europe and North America this September, the company announced this week. Natural Doctrine is the inaugural project from Kadokawa Corporation's...
NIS was a bit of a hidden treasure at E3. The publisher shared a booth with Atlus and it took me stopping and actually looking at what was on display at the demo station to put two and two together. The search was well worth it because I was rewarded with a closer look at three upcoming titles: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited, and Natural Doctrine.
Kadokawa Game Studio's inaugural title, Natural Doctrine, is coming to the west thanks to NIS. The SRPG from Patapon director Atsushi li looks pretty interesting, though you can't really judge the game based on a CG trailer....
Hah, okay, this is still a bit confusing. I'm still not sure how the boxes work. Maybe they're range stat based and actions doesn't take moves separately from movement. But then why would there be a series of boxes? Also, wh...
Kadokawa Games is vaunting its new internal studio's artistic prowess in the latest trailer for Natural Doctrine. The video for the upcoming role-playing game shows off some pretty cinematics and concept art whilst intr...
