Having worked on the MotoGP series, a few ATV games, two Hot Wheels titles, and Pure, I think developer Black Rock Studio is more than capable of handling the task of creating racing games.
According to the "leaked" video above, the developer will continue doing what it does best with an all new, unnamed IP. Kotaku caught the clip earlier today, and notes that the project is likely for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, if the company's job vacancies page is anything to go by.
It's hard to tell if the footage shown is in-game or not, but I did see what looks to be a building exploding. I know Burnout Paradise is still going strong, but the idea of bringing down the environment in a racing game is one I'm fond of.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.
