I dunno man... these days i cant keep up with all the FF games and its numbers. I really wished they dropped the numbers when its some spin off game.
Lets hope the game is good and stay clears of the traps that has keept the last few games for wide spread popularity. Id like to enjoy a FF game again... but i cant...

Chill out kid, it was on the weekend, the weekends are incredibly slow news days. Etch day there is maybe 2 post and most of those are from Holmes. So its either rumors or nothing.

@Ryoonz Wu: FF XIII sold almost 2 million copies on XBox, and XIII-2 500k ...and Squeenix had a rough year fanincially...I´m pretty sure it will be ported to XBox and maybe even Wii U if Sony won´t send them truck loads of monneyz (like in the case of Metal Gear Solid 4)

Referance and life experiance. Im sure yours is quite limited but its ok, if you stop being such a huge jerk you will realize what is worth caring about.
Also how to recognize what is being a dick and being rational.
I also know how it is the to have mental difficulties and not being completley in control of your emotions. But it is no excuse to be a jerk, go take your medication, go to a shrink. What ever works for you man.

It's not dead, it's gonna be a PS4 launch title, well, until it's not ready for for launch only to be released somewhere near 2017, just to polish it thoroughly of course

There's also a very good chance they're working on Type-0 Vita as well. Then there's all of Eidos. Then there's the fact that Ito hasn't been heard of this whole gen, and is likely making FFXV. Then the fact that Julien Merceron confirmed last week that something Kingdom Hearts related will be made with Crystal Tools. Then the unnamed Unreal Engine action/dark horror game that was shown a while ago. Then the fact that Nomura already basically confirmed TWEWY2. And then the fact that there are almost surely unannounced Vita titles from SQEX in the making too.
And just this month they released 3 3DS games. Also Jayson Napolitano is busy with the 9 full CDs of SQEX Music that came out this month alone, with Beer SQ, Battle SQ, FFXI Chips, and SQ Chips 2.
Great time to be a SQEX fan.

I don't see that happening honestly. Type-0 would sell Vitas, end of story, and I doubt Sony would say that. Also, I doubt SQEX would say that as they want to make the Type series into a franchise, and Kitase already said he was being asked for work on Type-1 around November of last year.
Hell, Metal Gear HD collection on Vita came out after the console version and with less content (no Peace Walker HD).

Thank god, I don't care if the re-branding turns out to be true. Though I played XIII until the end (and made it to plat) I was let down by the XIII-2 Demo (and that they wasted resources on this) and might pick it later at a cheaper price. Might!
However Versus XIII will be a Day One buy for me.
As for Kotaku. I get a feeling why I drifted from Kotaku to Destructoid. News like these just fortify my decision.

@Stealth: It just doesn't make sense to me. When Star Ocean came over to PS3, SQEX did add extra content, and that was a much lower profile game. So I don't see that happening from the SQEX side.
And as I said, Metal Gear HD Collection on Vita just came out with less content. What about FFX HD Remix? They could just call it Type-0 HD Remix, add dual stick control and an HD graphical upgrade and it would be fine.

Whatever relationship Stealth enters into, even his blow up dolls, I'm pretty sure that he would be the bitch.
Also, SQEX publishes the Remix versions of all their Kingdom Hearts games and resells them in Japan. They do the international versions of all Final Fantasy games and resell them in Japan also. They're not opposed to putting in a little extra content. They do it with almost every high profile release actually.
