Square Enix announces Hitman: Absolution

12:20 PM on 05.10.2011

Square Enix has today announced the next long-awaited game in the Hitman series, Hitman: Absolution.

The new adventure for everybody's favorite chrome-domed killer sees Agent 47 betrayed by his allies and on the run from police. Naturally, there's a sinister conspiracy in the works and it's up to the Baldy Man to crack its blackened heart.

“For the first time we are taking Agent 47 on a personal journey which allows us to explore other parts of the Hitman® fantasy,” claimed director Tore Blystad. “This is both a familiar and yet significantly different experience from other Hitman games; something our silent assassins will relish, as will all those new to the Hitman world.”

Check out the teaser video and the Facebook page. Exciting times, oooh!
