Square Enix and Eidos deal seems to be a go photo

Slap some Materia into your pistols, Lara, as it seems that Square Enix and Eidos seem to have agreed on buyout terms, reports MCV. Eidos' complete share capitol will be bought up by Square Enix in early May. A settlement is hoped to be in place by May 6th.

What does this mean? Who knows. Who knows what the house that Final Fantasy built would do with Tomb Raider or Kane & Lynch. They seem to have treated the Enix properties prett well, though. And Square Enix is smart enough to know that Tomb Raider is huge. 

Here's to looking forward to seeing what comes out of this deal.

Probably because Enix is the surviving partner. Square's been dead for five years.
