Disney has revealed that Split/Second has a release date, at least in the United Kingdom. The game is due for launch on May 21. You can expect the US release to be a couple days before that. Or a couple days after, depending on how saucy Disney's feeling.
The real news, however, is that Split/Second has a new addition to its name. The game will henceforth be known as Split/Second: Velocity. The world "velocity" rhymes with "originality." There is an irony in that. Quite the irony indeed.
Anyway, if you're into racing games, that is some information for you to think about for a few seconds.
