I'm not sure how you could ever stop having fun racing around tracks and blowing stuff up in Split/Second, but if that has somehow happened to you then you'll be super happy to hear that DLC is on the way. The game's Facebook page recently revealed that there would be three smaller DLC packs coming in the next couple of weeks and then a massive pack in September.
The first pack is a collection of "liveries" to "really make your Elite vehichles stand out from the crowd." The second pack will be a new vehicle offering called the “High Octane” Supercar Pack (image above) and the third pack is a special edition vehicle based on the original classic Ryback Cyclone. Those are cool, but small change compared to the fourth pack which will reportedly be offering up much more, including a new track with plenty of new and creative ways to destroy your fellow racers.
Details are scarce after that, not that there is much more to tell. There's no price point for the packs except for the Ryback Cyclone, which is free for all as a thank you to the game's community. No official release dates yet either, and my 360 and PS3 aren't teasing anything either.
