Today, Ubisoft and Microsoft have announced the Special Edition Splinter Cell: Conviction Xbox 360 bundle.
At this point, you should know what to expect from these things -- you get an Elite console, a 250GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, and a standard edition copy of Splinter: Cell Conviction. All of that for $399.99, and it'll be available on April 13.
Splinter Cell joins the ranks of Final Fantasy XIII and Modern Warfare 2, other third-party games which have also received very similar bundles. What's next?

I'm pretty sure MS only make these bundles for people who've had 360's, they've RROD'd but need the lure of a big game like Splinter Cell to persuade them to replace it.
I suppose, little kids are turning 12 and becoming 360's main demographic everyday.
Well done, start with RROD, then talk about paying money for online, no blu-ray and multidiscs, and you can end with the FFXIIIversus exclusive.

I'm in the same situation and it sucks... I want my HDMI and HDD but I also wish they had a an elite model in White like the original console.

Heavy Rain was great. GoW3 is going to be awesome. Mass Effect 2 was great. SSC is going to be awesome. Great, isn't it?

If you have the system already, it's NOT FOR YOU.
It's for people who don't have 360s who are interested in getting one and seeing a great bundle for a great price with a great game is that much more incentive to buy the system now.
