Splinter Cell Conviction gets free weekly DLC photo

Every week, starting this week, on April 15, Ubisoft will be giving away free DLC for their newest baby, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction. Free, folks.

That's what I'm talking about. Screw paying for content that was easily ready to be included in the original release. Hey, if Ubisoft can do it on a high-profile title like this, everyone can. This is the future. Let's move past this DLC money-hogging.

Those that own the game can expect to see things like new weapons, skins, and a new Deniable Ops map. Every week. For example, this week, you'll get the new MP7A1 Machine Pistol, as shown above. To nab this content, select "Extras" from the game's main menu.

Nicely done, Ubisoft!

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare adds free Zomboss Down DLC

I'm not sure which alternate dimension Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare came from or how it got here but PopCap's wacky third-person shooter has been a pleasant surprise. Against all odds, the game keeps on giving: another...more
