Hmmmm....think I'd like to see this game in motion but as a huge fan of the original series, I am hopeful.
I liked the art style when BottleRocket was doing the game, but Namco seems to be doing a pretty good job.
not too interested in this yet, but I will prob get it just for nostalgia. I loved me some Splatterhouse back in the day. I couldn't wait to get it when it finally came to the home consoles... I got mine on TG-16 and then I think later I had Splatterhouse 3 on Genesis.
I too don't much like the look of Rick in this game. He's pretty much an even more roided up John Cena with a mask.
Besides that as long as the gameplay is fun with alot of varied bloody kill tactics I'm sure it'll be good times.

I have very high hopes for this game. I never got to play these as a kid, but would be drooling over the comic adverts they used to have for the game. I've played the ROMs to death and can't wait too see how this new take on a classic series makes out.
I just hope it delivers what I want: Brutal mad-ass action, with tones of gore and bad-ass kill/fight animations. O and enough of a story to give you an excuse to curb stomp stuff :P

First, if the Etruscans were indeed Trojans, then the fact that the Magliano disk is the only object resembling the Phaistos disk clearly suggests that they came from the same cultural tradition, though perhaps some 700 years apart--i.e., that the Phaistos disk is Trojan.
