We'll see, the art is solid, but I think it would be more intriguing if it wasn't attached to Mickey- even though I'm sure it would ooze charm.
As has been said, if its fun, I'm down, no matter the specs.
Also, the concept art is pretty slick, if a little awkwardly irreverant.
I hope this gets released and I hope it's for multiple platforms in the end, although I'd definitely buy it for the Wii if that was my only choice.
Either way, it looks amazing.
The concept art are both interesting and scaring my shitless.
If all goes well with this game, it will be a day 1 buy for me.
I just love twisted verzions of childs stuff, like disney, and I als enjoyed American McGee's Alice very much.
About Alice, I remember playing it when I was 10-12 years old, I loved every bit but the meat-eating mushrooms freaked me out so much that I had to noclip past them.
Unless maybe he turns into a weremouse.
The big question is, would anyone play this if this was "just" a steampunk game, rather than a Disney steampunk game?
If the game actually turns out to be rated Teen, and doesn't contain any singing levels, I'm buying it.
I'm willing to bet the end product will be toned down though. Art usually represents the extremity of the vision as to set the bar ridiculously high so hopefully the animation team will dream big. But at the end of the day it never gets THAT good.
... *wonders if they'll weasel in KH references, given Disney seems to own it more than SQEX*
If I could pre-order it now I would.
Robot-zombie Goofy?
Broken Disney World on a boat?
Country Bear Scorpion Transformer?
I'm very confused.
That's a joke, right?
As for the art, this looks absolutely amazing, and I want it now. And I'm not even that big of a Disney fan.
