Special E3 Wrapup Edition Podtoid; I have no idea what went on ... photo

Today, we bring you the special E3 Wrapup Edition of Podtoid. I'd like to tell you what went on, but since I spent the entire week feeding the Destructokids and making sure they got to school on time, I can't. After all, someone has to keep the home fires burning while everyone else galavants all around Los Angeles, cheating on me with god-knows-who and catting around until god-knows-when.

I promised myself I wouldn't cry, but mother always warned me against getting involved with a robot. "They're shiftless. Just like the Jews!", she'd say. Mother was stunningly racist, but she was also right. I swear, if I find one more lip-print on Aaron's metallic collar, or see another video of Colette like the one I was forced to watch yesterday, I'm f***ing leaving!

*Nex breaks into uncontrollable sobbing*

You guys made a nice point, and i think thats what I ended up feeling after the weekend of coverage: there wasn't much about what's coming up in the future.

All the stuff I know is coming and I now know is shaping up nicely is great, but there's no big future hype from this E3, for me anyway. Makes me a little sad I guess.

Last time I asked this, I believe Nex misunderstood what I said. So I'll try asking this again.

Manhunt 2 has become a title most of us think about with the problem of games becoming easier to have banned. Well, it was already easy enough. ESRB now just has a way to make a game just go away for some cases.

Now since this is a big deal for us, and Manhunt 2 was a way to help us realize the problem, what if we get what we want and Manhunt 2 comes out, but the game turns out to be garbage? Will anyone feel like they wasted their time with the Manhunt 2 issue?

That's what I asked last time. That's what I'm asking this time. Hopefully it's simplified so that my words can't be twisted around. Trust me. I know what this is about.

Irish, this is the completed podcast post, not our call to questions post. Look for something next week.

But hell, I'll answer your question now. No, it's not a waste of time -- it's not even so much about the game as it is our liberty to play it, and make decisions as to what we want to play, what content we choose to digest. Slapping the AO rating on a title ensures that, no matter what our choice may be, the game simply won't reach us because retailers will refuse to stock it. It's indirect censorship. If this was a game like THE GUY GAME 2: PENIS PENIS PENIS VAGINA, it'd be one thing -- but this is Rockstar, and they make a good product. We know there's some merit there. But regardless of that fact, this isn't about Manhunt or wanting to play Manhunt -- this is the industry telling us that we're not able to make a decision about just how much violence we're capable of handling and making that decision for us.

I have never listened to a podtoid, ever. But I am sure this one was awesome.

Or maybe it wasn't.

I really don't care.

@sbshootme

I have been using music from ocremix.org primarily. I believe the songs I used in this one are from a guy named AE.
