Commander Shepard needs to be more than an intergalactic jerk in the next Mass Effect if he plans to salvage what’s left after the Reapers crash his little space party: he’ll need to keep his new crew together. Scouring the galaxy for the roughest and toughest appears like it was the easy part.
You may remember the first 90 or so seconds of the above. The footage debuted a week ago. But stay frosty -- this is an expanded version of that trailer, adding some additional cut-scene material of Thane, Grunt and default Shepard battling some space monsters before spotting an ominous floating tower-thing.
Just what is that thing? We haven’t the slightest. Our copy of the "Big Book of Mass Effect Weird Crap" went missing at some point last week. We’ll find it, though. We promise.
You can pretty much watch it safely, there aren't any spoilers in the trailer. It's moreso just a summary of Shepard's journey to assemble a team of badasses from several different planets, followed by a scene showing said badassery.
I am so terribly excited for this game. At first I wasn't too keen on the new, younger krogan but after seeing his moves in that trailer I can safely say that I'm in love.
i have been bitching about sequels and the lack of new ips for a while, but damn...that argument is irrelevent when it comes to this game. cannot wait.
In regards to the 'OMG what is that big ship?!' comments, my bet is it's a Collectors ship. Albeit a Collectors ship possibly benefiting heavily from Reaper outfitting, but a Collectors ship nonetheless.
The Wikia gives mention to the Collectors using enormous ships when they administer their mass-abductions, and that certainly is an enormous ship.
I have a feeling Thane might be a permanent part of my party. That dude is fucking BAD ASS!
Also, the character model for Miranda is one of the best character models I've seen. She looks almost identical to Yvonne Strahovski. I think if she becomes a party member, she'll be staying there too just so I can stare at her through the game because Yvonne is fucking gorgeous!

There's nothing spoiler-esque. It's just "Here's two guys with Sheperd, they shoot things, and we tease this giant thing at the end."
