This not shipping with the game was the reason why I didn't buy it unfortunately. Now, I'm going to be playing Battlefield 3.
Not a very wise decision to release it on the same day as Battlefield 3.

It's a decent way to extend the Game's online presence IMO. If everything for a low profile game is out at launch, you run it and you're done. If you dig it, there's a bit more to get into after release.

I agree that this really should have been in the game at launch. However, I'm still amped to finally get to play some co op Space Marine.
I don't know if it's a smart move to continue developing additional DLC after Exterminatus, I'd rather they focus all their assets on creating a sequel.

I'm hoping there will be a sale on when this drops, I know it $40 this week at amazon and best buy, but I can't pony it for it at this moment, but it's the next game on my list. Of course, I'm a Relic/WH40K fanatic, and skipping BF3 and Gears 3, but I hope they are smart and use this added content for a second push, so that the sales result in a sequel that include multiple race options, like Dawn of War. Even if just Tau and Eldar would be added, I think they could hit an amazing multiplayer niche with something like that.
i have been playing this game since i first got it a couple days after release, and i still love it. im happy to see some free dlc! sorry bf 3, space marine will be getting my time on oct. 25th. yesssssssssssss!
To people who complain that a game is bad because its incomplete due to dlc really need to consider this ; It's notfhe creators fault but the publisher and developer ceos fault
Can't wait, since I'm not in any particular hurry to get BF3. I like my military men from the ridiculously far future, kthx.
Between Gears, Resistance and BF3 and MW3 on the way, I can't imagine many people will be bothering. I really enjoyed Space Marine and free DLC to keep people interested is great in theory, but this is just the wrong time of year. The next month or so will be and already is swamped with burly men shooting things.
