This appeared back before Destructoid even existed, so that's my excuse for not posting it sooner! Spotted on LightBytes, Ken Ishii pays homage to Space Invaders with a creation story fused with techno, 1-bit sex, and a sort of alien block party. Ken Ishii is best known as an international dj and being one of the breakout creative musical forces behind Rez, a cult music game that you must run out and purchase if you enjoy electronic music. Mr. Ishii has recently released some new albums which you can check out on his official web site. What I wanna know is where's the sequel?!! Interesting trivia about Rez: There was a special package in Japan that was sold with - I kid you not - a Playstation 2 Vibrator that would rhythmically react to the music. How's that for getting your girlfriends to come and play video games with you! Apparently it's such an overwhelming experience that this becomes a 2 player game - one with the vibrator and one minding the playstation controller while the other convulses in trippy pleasure. I suppose an orgasm might be distracting. GameGirl Advance has the... buzz.
