I buy these. I don't care about boxes when the game is this cheap. Unless the game is even cheaper with the box used or something.
@Verdi: You can normally get the boxed versions (used at least) cheaper by the time they hit on demand. I've seen SCIV for $15.
They can't go right into full-on digital distribution with risking GameStop boycotting them or something, so they start slow with prices slightly higher than retail. It's all a strategy meant to unfold over the long term.
No GoD games have ever been featured as a deal of the week or gone below the $20 price point yet, but hopefully it will happen someday. GoD is perfect for impulse purchases, they just need to get it closer to the impulse price of $10.

Soul Calibur IV is worth $20, easily. Many a nights spent settling epic fights (Jesus vs. Gandhi, Obama vs. Palin...) with my dorm mates.
Only game I bought was Bad Company 2 ($20). I was drunk and my friend convinced me to so we could play it on Live together.

I can tell you who is buying the GoD: lazy people. Yeah, I can assure you there are lots of them with a pad in their hands. Those who don't care about searching the physical product or don't even think in wasting their time doing it, who don't know its market price or don't care about comparing prices.

Guilty, too. I bought Bad Company and Army Of Two. It's odd to see EA having the only games priced fairly to how much they cost in the store. Everyone else...lower your prices, you'll get sales.
