Soulcalibur 4 featuring the Final Fantasy VII cast

1:58 PM on 08.15.2008, Dale North 31 comments

     Final Fantasy

By now, I'm sure you've seen just about every character and celebrity under the sun in Soulcalibur 4 form, thanks to their robust character creation system. Hell, you've even seen their panties already. But this video collection was too good to pass on.

Japanese game blog gamedunga (kickass name!) points us to this awesome lineup of Final Fantasy VII characters recreated in Soulcalibur 4. They're all there: Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, Vincent, Barrett and more, all fighting to the FF7 score. Cid gets spanked! The Aerith and Sephiroth are especially good.

If perverts are still hanging around after our previous post, you'll be glad to know that Cloud knocks the skirt right off Tifa.

They should have just called this guy to make Square Enix' upcoming brawler Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

cool. I have yet to mess around with the character creator in that game, I never realized how in depth it was!

Wow, the Sephiroth was incredible! The Tifa was pretty legit too, but it's not hard to design a big breasted chick in a short skirt.
Also, surprised dude in Japan is playing the 360 version.

That is actually very impressive, much better than the other character creations we've seen. Kudos to the maker!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't tell who Sephiroth was fighting.

Give a fanboy a character creation system, and you can bet that the first thing that gets made is a bunch of FF7 characters.

Seriously though, those are pretty excellent. The SC4 character creation system is great fun.

You could just create a single male character with androgynous traits, long flowing blond hair and a ridiculously giant sword. That should cover roughly 90% of the final fantasy characters.

Frankly, never much liked fighting games, however, i may just try this just for the sake of playing around with the character creator

Meh, I made Izuna, unemployed ninja.
Seph was good but Mitsurugi? I may have chosen Yoshimitsu (and ignore the flag).
Cloud looked good, movie version of him?

The guy Sephiroth was fighting reminded me of Mr. Hanekoma from The World Ends With You.

Also, holy shit.

I thought maybe Sephiroth was fighting either Zach or himself as a 1970's TV cop, wasn't sure.

HAHAHHA 1970s TV cop Sephiroth.

Yeah, I couldn't tell who that was supposed to be, either.

My Cid is better than that one. MUCH better, actually. Though I gave him Kilik instead of Mi-Na because the pose just doesn't fit his badassery at all (and there wasn't a Mop weapon...). The others look pretty damn good, though. Also, I'm with Acefowl and Spooky. I can't tell who the hell Seph is fighting.

Well,It wouldn't be FFVII, but I thought it was supposed to be Auron Sephiroth was fighting. Not a great Auron, but that is what came to mind.

They do look pretty but call me when someone does SC IV versions of FF VI or IV characters.
