Wow, all that sweet disc loaded content cash must be being used to buy copious amounts of salt to rub in the open wounds in Mega Man fans hearts.
Also, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3? Never going to happen. And the SFxT disc-locked content is totally unfinished.

@Zambahtoh: I think the massive amount of butthurt that Mega Man fans cant get over has somehow impaired their vision.
If they make a Breath of Fire game using this Ex-Trooper's graphics engine(with a customizable protagonist, at that, not yet another mandatory blue haired man in the lead) that plays out in an open world like Dragon's Dogma(with a hidden set of Mega Man armor and a Mecha Dragon transformation thrown in for good measure), maybe many(most?) of the complainers will accept that apology. That or they'll be too busy playing that game to care.
Honestly I don't even think those 2 characters looked that much the same. It's the same company if you compare any 2 of their games you'll find some resemblance.
And even if they did reskin MML 3 like some are claiming I don't think that's such a bad thing. I'd rather have a re-skin than nothing at all.

Why are people saying "OH, THEY'D NEVER ADMIT TO IT"? It's not like reanimating a dead game's corpse as another game is something that's never happened. Hell, it's been done before with turning Capcom Fighting All-Stars into Capcom Fighting Evolution. >_>
Okay, I'm not getting into the whole MML3 thing, I want the game, or any Mega Man game worth a damn, yadda yadda... I'm not saying much more then that any more.
But is Lost Planet really THAT popular that it needs a spin off series? Cause I'm not seeing it.. In fact, on a personal level, I kinda hate the Lost Planet games and have zero drive to want to play this or another sequel.
