While Sorcery seems entirely range-based, it would be nice to see motion controls used as a means to intuitively expand upon the combat, and not an excuse to simplify it.
"SS has a full second-long delay before enemies would attack..."
A bit of an exaggeration, don't you thing?
Half a second? That I can believe.
I just turned on the game, loaded a hero mode save, ran directly into a pack of 5 Red Bokoblins, stood so close as to be essentially touching two of them, and it took upwards of FOUR second before one of them attacked!
Ahhhhh! You mean how long the AI takes to engage.
I thought you meant the delay between the start of the attack and the actual hit.
It's not Move's fault, because all of the games came to the Wii first with those issues. Now that they're bringing more to the system that doesn't chug framerates with enemies oh the screen, I'd love to see more of the best light gun takes, like HotD 1,2, Time Crisis 1,2,3 and CarnEvil. They nailed the system, and it would be nice if developers paid more attention to it.
