The game may be good for what it is, but I can't overlook a AAA developer studio that can't get a game to work properly on a single console and not even deliver DLC because they can't get it to work.
Hmm... Hey bethesda how about making a new fallout game based on originals gameplay? Release it on vita and you have my forgiveness.
A proper system, not just something thrown together. It would surely make people want to make better games.
Fallout tacticts was made my Micro forte and published by 14 degrees east.
Considering virtually all you do is bully people for their gaming tastes here on dtoid... dont you think you should get your facts right when you spread out into other whining?

Bethesda just owns the rights now, I believe. And you'd trust Bethesda with another Sony platform when they can handle the one they're supposed to be focusing on?
Okay.
Bethesda have had nothing to do with any of the Fallout games before the first two fully 3D iterations.
"LOL at Bethesda seriously needs lessons in making video games."
Fixed back...
Bethesda isn't exactly batting 1.000 when it comes to the PC and Xbox versions of their games. Bethesda has a buggy bloated engine in general, it is just that the PS3's hardware design causes it to fall victim to some of those bugs and bloat faster than the other systems. Bethesda has known this for years. And while their ability to patch their problems is about a hundred times better than the current incarnation of Infinity Ward, they still make mistakes that they shouldn't be making.
And if you want to get into game design, Bethesda is also lacking there.
Or just not pick it up at all. This kind of half-assed porting strikes me as a damn good reason to not give Bethesda more of my money until they shape the fuck up.
Skyrim uses a brand new engine.
So i guess they did learn a lesson, they stopped using gamebryo.
@EdgyDude, you mean the same way Blizzard has learned to have stable servers at launch for online games after years of maintaining the largest MMO ever? Yeh, lol.
Pretty much, and that's not even counting the force online connection for the single player part of Diablo 3, guess stupidity has become a part of devs and publishers since the start of the current gen.
@Themuad: Glad you understand.
Not to mention that the game had some of the simplest and lamest combat I've ever seen, and it was about 10 times shallower than Oblivion.
Still, it's good to sort these issues out in the event that they actually do come up with some decent (like Shivering Isles) DLC in the future. It would be even nicer if they could fix the lag issues in the actual game. Playing with all the save options disabled is a pain in the butt and totally ruins the immersion.
Sony definitely needs better quality control though. I honestly don't understand how games can be released where basic functions like voice chat don't reliably work.
You might want to look up the actual meaning of the word entitled. Seriously, this is starting to become one of my biggest pet peeves.
Also, by your logic, no has a right to complain about... anything, really. Millions of people are starving to death right now, after all.
Don't worry, though, Bethesda Softworks will make yet another error all on their own and everyone will be able to chide them for their screw-ups,but this might be out of their less-than-adequately capable hands.
It got a new name and they claim its a newly made engine. So unless its a ball faced lie (i imagine someone would have called them on that by now) its a new engine i guess.
Heh, I'm an idiot. :/ Anyway, what I was trying to say is that that usage of the word "entitled" is incorrect. The correct term is "false sense of entitlement."
Why would they even care about getting it working? That never stopped them from releasing Skyrim or any of their other games to critical and commercial success.
Bethesda can take Skyrim and Dawnguard and shove them up their ass. The games are bugged shit still this long after launch and the base game is pathetically shallow to begin with.
