If you have a moderately high IQ, there's a good chance that you've tried PlayStation Home, deduced that it's a vapid waste of space, and promptly deleted it from your PS3 hard drive. Sony, however, hasn't given up on the poor man's Second Life, and has asked everybody to give it a second chance.
"I hear all the time, 'I logged on when it first launched but there was nothing there' – but I urge people to go back on there," said Home director Peter Edward. "It's been two years. We were always very proud of what we had achieved for launch, but we're the first to admit it was basic back then.
"Two years down the line it has come on in leaps and bounds, is vibrant, full of cool content and great games to play. It's free -- those who aren't going in there are really missing out. If you think Home is what it was two years ago, do yourself a favour and have another look, you won't be disappointed."
I am not convinced that I need to download this thing again and give it another try. I am, however, open to the idea -- so I ask you, dear readers, to convince me that Home is worth it. Persuade me to give it a try once more!
