It's the ball on a stick. The wand thingy. The "Arc." Whatever it is, Sony is going to show it it off at PS3 at next month's Game Developers Conference.
In an hour-long presentation called "Introducing the PlayStation 3 Motion Controller," SCEA's Platform Research Manager David Coombes and Kirk Bender will show off the tech publicly at the conference on March 11th, the first proper showing since last year's E3.
I think it would be in Sony's best interest to show off actual games and not just tech demos this time around. While this is a show for developers, I'm sure they realize that gaming press will work their way into the room to see what's going down with their glowsticks. We'll be there to heckle observe.

Sony's E3 tech demos were way more impressive than anything Microsoft showed with Natal till this day.

You have an amazing knack for boiling everything down to the basics. In your mind, if someone makes fun of Arc, they must love Natal. If they like Forza, they must hate GT. If they find chocolate tasty, vanilla may as well be warm, salty semen.

No, it's definitely not better. They're both desperate, way to late grabs for the motion control crowd, and they both will probably be wastes of time.
I believe that M$ actually may have indeed bitten more than it can chew.
(( How the heck are you supposed to remember the Instructions. For what does what from game to game w/NATAL? Seriously the last thing i do when playing games. Is read the damn manual. ))

If you don't think the Arc resembles the basic shape of a dick you're blind. Also this dildo resembles a dick far more than some of the other random sex toys: it's long, with a black shaft and a bulbous pink head. Sounds like a dick to me. The shapes pretty different, but the basic idea it evokes when you first see it is 'oh a dildo'.
