Sony teases us with new echochrome teaser site photo

The new Japanese teaser site for their fantastic-looking puzzle game echocrome may appear a bit sparse at first sight, but that's probably intentional, seeing has how the game is in only black and white. We haven't heard much since the game's E3 announcement earlier this year, so we'll take anything we can get.

The teaser page contains some classy music and animations for you to enjoy as well as the gameplay trailer (bottom menu option) you might have already seen. There are also several screenshots of varied game levels (top menu option), including some for the PSP version of the game, which are colored in inverse (white on black) presumably for contrast reasons.

We just found out that the PS3 version of echochrome will be playable on the TGS show floor, so it would probably be safe to say that the echochrome teaser page will see some additions very soon.

The two games that are going to make me actually jealous that I don't have a PS3 when they come out are both downloadable titles. Something is wrong with that picture. Either way, Echochrome and Little Big Planet look fucking awesome.

I get the feeling that this game will be interesting in concept, but boring in gameplay. especially with such a plain look.

This is the only game coming out for the PSP that I care about. Seriously.

This makes three games the PS3 has that are actually interesting. I'm still holding judgement for this particular title for now. The concept is amazing, but really all your doing is rotating the camera. Of course, when the levels get harder, you'll probably actually have to do a lot of thinking.

Oh, and I reckon it would have worked as a Wii game, but obviously this is a Sony game.

This game is a lot like an MC escher drawing. Fun to look at, but to play? not so much.

Yeah, it's coming out on both the PSP and PS3.

Brilliant game. Go Sony. Soon Sony will separate itself from the 360 with awesome variety. MS can revel in their 581 upcoming FPS titles though...

Will you be able to purchase it on the PSN and transfer it to the PSP? That's all I care about, I don't think they'd make me buy the game twice, right?

@JerkButt47: you don't like Assassin's Creed, or DiRT, or skate, or Stranglehold, or Jerico, or Guitar Hero III, or NFS: Prostreet, or The Simpsons game, or Blacksite: Area 51, or Call Of Duty 4, or Army of Two, or Brother's in Arms, or Kane & Lynch, or Medal of Honor: Airborne, or The Orange Box (TF2 FTW!) or Soldier of Fortune, or UT III, or Rock Band, or Quake Wars, or Time Shift, or Burnout Paradise, or Dark Sector, or Devil May Cry 4, or Frontlines: Fuel of War, or Silent Hill 5, or Soul Caliber IV, or Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, or Condemned 2, or End War, or Turok, or Fallout 3, should I continue?
You must realize that most of the world buys one console, and if they can get mostly the same titles on either system, they'll get the one that they like. I don't think I'll waste my time naming the exclusives because nobody likes them anyway.
