I picked up my PS+ membership last week, under the theory that they'll wait to trot out the good stuff until most people's memberships had expired.

I got my two free games (Infamous & Wipeout HD) and my free 30 days of PS+ (Uncharted 3 Beta and Deathspank at half price, woot!)
Also, got two PSP games, i don't own a PSP, but maybe they'll work on a PSVita?

That's what I'm hoping about the PSP games, too. I've got my fingers crossed. It would be nice to pick up a Vita and have two free games already waiting.

FYI To everyone: Just in case you didn't know,If you have multiple PSN accounts you can get 2 PS3 and 2 PSP games per account.
IE: I have 3 accounts and was able to download all 5 PS3 and 4 PSP games.
If you didn't know this,start downloading now..

If you "bought" the "Free PSX Game 1/2" thing, you can still choose your games. Was waiting until today to activate my sister's and effectively-brother's PS+ subscriptions, since August 3rd will be a Tuesday (read: Update Day), but it was too late when I got on just after noon. However, I go still go to my sister's Subscriptions List in Account Management and choose the games from the SCEA Promotion section. The ability to choose games doesn't expire, just the offers do, so if you "bought" the offers, you can choose the games whenever. She still has a choice on her second PS3 game (between Super Stardust HD and WipEout HD + Fury, since she's not interest in zombies or electric 'superheroes").
Aw fuck, I missed the free 30 days for PS+. Meh, at least I got all free games since I have multiple accounts (You can thank store regions and region exclusivity for that.).
I've had to remind my playstation 3 owning associates 3 times of this. I wonder how many actual ps3 owners even took advantage of this deal.

I went as soon as I saw this post and it is indeed down. I would've gotten the PSPlus already, but when I tried the website gave me the run-around...
I did not even get the opportunity to get it. My old account won't let me change the password and Sony won't respond when I ask about it.

I got Dead Nation and Wipeout Fury (already had vanilla Wipeout HD), Killzone Liberation and LBP (PSP) on my main EU account and nothing on my NA account, already have everything else on offer which was a bit of a bummer. Kinda only got 1.5 substantive PS3 games out of this, even with 3 accounts. Dead Nation is great though, had not paid it any attention when it came out but its a lot of fun. My NA PS+ account also got me access to Comet Crash for this last month, which is a nice little tower defense game. Only gonna keep PSN+ on my EU account (already have over 30 games from EU PS+ anyways), not renewing on my NA account.
The Japanese "welcome back" promotion still has not started though...

The only welcome back game that I already owned was Little Big Planet for PSP, so I downloaded Wipeout and Infamous on PS3 and Mod Nation Racers on PSP. I only got one PSP game because the other 2, which if I remember correctly were Killzone Liberation and something else, weren't very interesting to me. Still a good deal though -- 3 free games are better than no free games.
Also, I didn't get the Playstation Plus, since whatever games you download with that will be erased when your membership ends and I had no plans to continue paying for it after the free trial.

@rammstein waiiit whhhat? I would hope people enjoy these games and other ps exclusives because their actually good games and not because of some stupid blind faith people have in consoles. To me it seems like your inmplying only sony fans enjoy those games. :S
I got all the PS3 and PSP games due to having multiple accounts on my PS3. And, I didn't activate the PS+ on said accounts until yesterday, just in case they wait for all the suckers who activated it day 1 to run out and then bring out the goods.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I don't even own a PSP, nor do I plan on getting a Vita either. Free games are something I'll never pass up, regardless of being able to play them or not.
