Solution for PSN issues.
Step 1: Sell PSN to Valve.
Step 2: Let Valve build PSN around the Steam framework.
Step 3: Kevin Butler now advertises that PSN is better than XBL
Step 4: Profit!
My PSN account is running and I can play Socom online. Right now that is ALL that matters.
Oh well. I changed my passwords on everything but my japanese psn account, no worries.

THIS! Just imagine how awesome that would be.
now you recommends us to change our email completely?
@SephirothX
agree, just partner up with valve for better network, advertise it and let the money flow like a cow :P
Or is there a way of going in via the PSN website - which has been taken down for now - and re-resetting a password?
I hope they clarify if this means another round of password changes, and what exactly happened.
Seeing as there is probably no part of your info they can use for security resets. Save possibly your credit card, if you ever used one and assuming that info was not compromised as well....
I'm really not seeing any way out of this for them unless they somehow get the government OK to use peoples social security numbers or some other hard fact that they previously were not in possession of..when they lost everyone data.. but given their track record with data security, I wouldn't trust them to guard an waffle.
I wonder if the delay caused by this information paradox will somehow embiggen the list of "welcome back" games.
Nail on head. You've hit it.
Also, it looks like Japan was right, PSN isn't secure enough to be put back up yet.
FUCK THAT.
Also. Why didn't the 3 investigative teams they hired (or indeed Sony themselves) not see this exploit weeks ago? You would have thought that after the month Sony has had they would have spotted this sooner.
or for them to sell the PSN to valve.
Or both :)
Valve integration into the PSN with Authenticators, yay!
@Smazeika83 - Yeah, that freedom of speech thing is a real bitch, eh? LOL, your comparison is hilarious.
I guess logical decisions require more money then they are paying said firms.
Now we know that. Just relax, we are still going to find out what the hell is going on here.
But through illogical trial and error.
Now how long before this happens to Live? I'm banking on Sony getting attacked (possibly successfully) around E3 and then Live getting nailed hard sometime in August. Calling it now.
And no bull about Live being unhackable or how Sony brought this on themselves. This is war, boys and you don't want to wait for the SS to knock on the door before you grab your rifle.
Sir Howard and Kaz Hirai are drowning themselves in booze.
