Could rumors of Sony deciding to call its motion controller "Arc" be true? If a recently registered domain name spotted by VGChartz is any indication, all signs point to "yes."
The domain playstationarc.com was registered by Sony Computer Entertainment in October of last year according to a WHOIS search. Another Web site, http://www.ps3arc.com, has appeared; but don't be fooled -- it, along with the mentioned Kownage Expansion Pack, is a hoax and not owned by Sony.
So this begs the question -- if Sony has settled on a name for its motion controller, what's the hold up in announcing it? With the DICE Summit and Game Developers Conference right around the corner, we don't expect it'll be too long before Sony reveals its hand.
In the meantime, keep pounding "F5" and refreshing playstationarc.com obsessively; let us know when something happens.

Seriously though, Arc is a cool name. As is good business Sony are concentrating on getting this thing working, making it awesome and naming and hyping can come later.
