Sony officially reveals PS3 wireless Bluetooth headset photo
     PS3

You may already know about this, but today Sony has officially revealed its wireless Bluetooth headset, now with 30% more blue teeth. The peripheral will have an RRP of ¥5,000 (US$46) and it's scheduled for release in Japan on October 30.

Sony's new headset comes complete with a cradle that can be used to charge it. A fully charged set will get you around eight hours of talk time and up to three hundred hours of standby. In addition, you'll get about ten meters of range out of the thing.

Certainly looks sexier than Microsoft's official Fisher Price headset, I'll give it that much. Any Warhawk fanatics interested in picking this up?

I despise bluetooth headsets. They hurt your ears after a while and the sound quality isn't good at all (at least usually). I'll just stick to my PS-EYE combined with regular Sony wireless headphones. Because they fit nicely and sound fucking great.

@Jpitner

That's another reason to get a hold of this:

It uses rechargeable AA batteries. Just put it on his stand and it recharges. Easy as pie. And it fits great on every headsize.

I have a motorola headset, which sucks ass. So if this one is better than that, I'll be getting one.

those headphones look like the MDR-RF960RK

Although I would go with the Sennheiser wireless headphones

I use these with rechargeable aaa batteries

In my experience, they are cheaper, higher rated, more comfortable.
I'm really happy with my pair.

It's also coming with the Blu-ray release of Socom: Confrontation on October 14th, and the whole package is only $60. Why not just buy that instead of $50 for the headset alone?

And it has a freaking MUTE BUTTON! I'd get it just for that alone.
