This January THQ is tossing out some extra special content for SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. Avid players will finally get some much needed Superstar additions, while PlayStation 3 owners will get some exclusive content.
The content is dubbed Roster Update Pack 1. Sadly, THQ apparently expects owners of the game to either have credit cards or the ability to quit beating on their wives long enough to be bothered with download times. We’ll keep with the pretense though, just for fun. Here’s a list of some of the content:
- Evan Bourne - playable Superstar
- Ted DiBiase - playable Superstar
- Charlie Haas - playable Superstar
- Chris Jericho - alternate attire
- Kelly Kelly and Maria Santa - holiday costume (PS3 exclusive)
- Masked Kane, MVP, and Edge - alternate attire (PS3 exclusive)
I didn’t know there was an unmasked Kane. I must have missed that soul-shattering event. But hey, never mind masks – that holiday costume looks great!
