If they don't, then I honestly believe that Sony is using these developers to boost their own brand and sending many of these games to underachieve through cannibalism. Not to mention the possibility of a huge drop off and demand for 2012 that has a new high standard.

Care to rationalise your dismissal? Ar tonelico 1 and 2 are easily 2 of the best RPG's on PS2. It's more unique than the majority of them, has the best Soundtrack of any PS2 RPG.
The only shit that can hang with Ar tonelico on the PS2 are Nippon Ichi's imperious grindfests such as Disgaea or Soul Nomad, The Persona games, or Dragon Quest 8.
Publicity =/= Quality, Ar tonelico is a genuine hidden gem.

Honestly, I think most of the major JRPG franchises really lost their stride on the PS2, including FF and Dragon Quest, but that's just my opinion, and like I said, it's arguable.

I've got the LBP2 collector's edition coming in on release day, and after that, its only Uncharted 3 and Ico/SotC HD on day 1. I'll probably pick up a few of these titles around Black Friday and the holiday season.

Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel, The ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, Killzone 3, The Last Guardian, Resistance 3, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception are all must buy titles for me. Gonna have to bust out all new stuff to have the misses buy these for me lol. I can't justify buying all of these plus close to the same amount it multiplat titles that are must buys this year from my wallet alone.

No More Heroes, The Last Guardian, and Hyperdimension Neptunia, for me (also possibly Ar Tonelico, but my RPG backlog is already absurd).
I'll probabaly give Uncharted 3, Ratchet & Clank, and Resistance 3 a rental.

There are a lot more games on here I'm looking forward to playing that I initially thought. inFamous 2, Uncharted 3, Last Guardian, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD, LBP2, Ratchet and Clank. This is gonna be a good year =D

Interestingly enough, the only games from that list I actually really want are Hyperdimension Neptunia, Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Collection, The Last Guardian, and Journey. Other than that I couldn't really care less for most of them, and the rest I hold only a passing interest in (Sorcery).
Infamous 2 for sure and twisted metal, uncharted 3, NMH, and Last Guardian =) going to be a busy year
i will get lbp2, uncharted3, and the last guardian for sure. but the rest, ehh. killzone, wait and see, socom, only liked the first to be honet. the others, bored me.. but a lot of these are arcades titles too. i wonder if they are touting the number like they have more than wii and xbox, which is may be true, but including arcade and wii titles download there are a lot each year that are exclusives. it does seem strange that xbox hasn't listed all of the exlcusives, wii have they?

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why I bought a PS3. I don't know what MS has up their sleeves, or what the hell they're waiting for, but it'll be hard to top this incredible list of first-party excellence.
