Was anyone more surprised than me to see Maddox finally had a new post today? In his latest rant, he talks about how he is sick and tired of Sony's bullshit. He goes on a rant about everything Sony wise that has made headlines over the years. From the exploding batteries, the rootkits, the PS2s, Lik Sang, and the PSP.
When I read the law suit, I did a double take to make sure I read it correctly. Sony is suing to prevent people from selling PSPs? Great move, morons! Because if there's anything Sony needs right now, it's fewer people buying PSPs. In fact, PSP sales are part of the reason Sony expects to lose $1.7 billion dollars in their gamingdivision by March. That means that I and anyone else who makes any money at all between now and March will officially make more money than Sony's gaming division. I rule.

I think more than anything you proved how ignorant you are with both that, and the statement that one needs to take personal offense to what Sony does in order to see their fuck ups for what they are.
Although I would have also added the fact that Sony's also pushing a new video format that (along with HD-DVD) consumers really don't need yet. I'm not re-buying my movies again this soon, damn it.
LxLegend: People take Sony's business decisions personally when they negatively effect the consumer... such as sneaking rootkits into music cds that can mess up their PCs or selling hardware that craps out just after the warranty expires. A company that does what is "best for them" by screwing their customers is a company that will end up losing business in the long run.
