Being in the Beta it's not a bad game by any means but it's also not the greatest either.
The graphics are no where near as nice looking as the screen shots make it out to be, it looks like BattleField 2 IMO. The gameplay also needs a few tweaks here and there for balancing guns.
It's fun but I'll wait for the final version before I pull the trigger on this one as if it's release in it's current state it will be a budget purchase for me :/

I am in the beta and I must say, all the HUD elements are useful and the animation totally does not suck.

I played the Beta as well. The walking animations were dreadful. Was there an update for it or something?

Yeah the update was like 2gigs....lol
I also hate how long you sit in the lobby waiting for a game to start. I think that's to do with the small amount of people actually beta testing though.

I liked the beta, but my God, it's hard to keep track of what's happening. That, and the fact that no one communicates at all.
Why can't Sony include a damn Jabra headset or something with the new Slim consoles?

And don't forget it's still in beta. They'll make it nice and pretty for the release but right now they just want to make sure 256 players can play a lag-free match. So far so good at 128 at least.
Also are most Dtoiders still Raven?? I want to restart my character but noticed I'm the only Valor it seems and don't like playing alone. I may be making the jump.

I haven't updated yet, but I think I'm gonna stay Raven. Valor looks like crap. However, I might go SVER depending on the poll results on the forum.
