hopefully they have something good for NGP besides Gravity Daze cause so far it's PSP all over again. loads of ports from ps3 and talks how you can have "ps3 experience in the palm of your hand" which in terms of PSP resulted in a few subpar spinoffs of ps2 games and basically nothing else. and please less gimmicks or atleast ability to turn them off cause i don't want to swing a handheld left and right in a bus trying to snipe someone(i'm talking about you Uncharted Portable) - i have buttons for that for gods sake.

So it is now confirmed that I will be getting an NGP this year then. Good deal. This assumes of course that the launch library will have at least ONE game that I actually want in it. I was effing PUMPED for the 3DS until it launched with no games I cared about. Let's hope it doesn't happen this time around.

Secondly, Im more hype for the ngp than I was for the 3DS. I've loved my psp from day 1, so much so, That I have 3 versions of it. I always thought it was the perfect system, and it fit better in my hands.

Forthiness, Spinoffs of course. but most of them are far from subpar. I think you should play a few of them before you get all preachy.

I'm actually surprised this thing is still hitting this year, though I'd wager it might only be in Japan.

Hopefully we'll get an idea of the pricing at E3. I'm certainly interested, but a steep price tag can swiftly diminish any tech-boner I might be sporting.

cbarrentos: that was not a official target date just a rumor. That date could have been the time when publishers uploaded their material though.

i had PSPs since 2008 and played(or tried) most of its games and frankly most only handful of games were good and worth the money. God of War games were average at best(God of War games never were anything special to me, but PSP titles were just generic 3 hour long action games). only handful of games were really worth playing and most those high rated titles got great reviews simply because there was nothing on the system. if it wasn't for emulators and DJ Max games i would sold both PSPs years ago.
besides remember all those big promises from Sony regardless PSP and how it all ended. with that in mind i will probably wait atleast 2-3 years before i will even consider getting NGP especially with 3DS getting all the games and support PSP got last gen(more mature games).

I hate to be this guy, but I almost don't want the NGP based solely on the aesthetics of the system and GUI. Looking at it makes me think of an iPod mixed with a PSP mixed with a bar of soap.

But I'll probably still get it, since I feel obligated to buy shiny technobobbles and rub them in peoples faces.

I'm already sold on the NGP. Bring similar games to those you find on the PSP, in other words, keep doing what you're doing Sony, top notch exclusives and solid multiplats and I will buy your stuff.

NGP may not Bomb. Not if they port over all the best PS2 games. By that I mean JRPGs, all of them. Persona 3 & 4, and Final Fantasy 10 & 12. Metal Gear would be nice too. I'd buy it.
